  should people post oneline questions constantly?.

  if so why do they do it the attention?, to see how many responses they get?.

  min & jh your bloody questions are p*ss*ng me off, dont get me wrong i find some intresting, but after number 20 i lose the will to live..... i dont have to read them i know, but i am a nosey git and have to read everything.

  Why are you out, what made you leave?

  I left when I realised that in reality, I was just not a spritual person and, any measure of spirituality that I developed by becoming a JW was really only superficial, and I began to view the witnesses as just the same as any other religion - full of lies and self-righteous hypocrisy.

  I have been out for around ten years and have not bothered with them much in that time, but recent goings-on in my area prompted me to have a look to see what they have been up to doctrinally in the time since I have been 'out'. I rue that the internet was not available when I was on the way out. We were always told never to look at the works of so-called 'apostates' and, besides, access to such material in a rural locality was almost non-existant. With the internet now widely available, there is really no excuse for a JW (or person of any religion for that matter) not to investigate their beliefs and customs from an objective point of view.

  when you make new friends, do you tell them that you already belonged to the jehovah witnesses or do you rather keep that secret?.

  are you afraid that they would treat you as a nut, if you admit that belonged to that religion?.

  Having been a convert to the JWs, it is a part of my life that, when I look back now, is not something to be particularly proud. I do not try to hide or deny the fact, and will openly admit to such should the topic arise during conversation, but I don't go around proclaiming to one and all that I once succumbed to cultism.

  cheeses - now proud to be of the enlightened class.

  I want those responsible for letting this person out without proper escort to be brought to account. Day release procedures obviously need to be tightened at the asylum. Is he being provided the care he needs? Is there someone on duty ensuring that he is taking his medication with the correct dosage? Maybe he needs to be transferred to a facility that is better equipped to handle cases such as this?

  Illuminate? I think the light went out ages ago.

  By the way - Have you ever considered that minimus, cheeses and exjw might be the New Age trinity?

  i've been lurking in this site for about a week now.

  i didn't know something like this existed or else i may have come sooner.

  i'm a bit selfish for making this my first post, but i'd like to introduce myself and get some feedback if possible.. my parent's became jehovah's witnesses when i was eight years old, so i was for the most part "raised in the truth".

  Don't know much about either Brown or Marino, but if their actions are such that they rankle the ire of farkel, well, maybe, they are just as he described so eloquently.

  I feel sure Englishman would not be so bold as to tamper with your remarks. Some advice - forget ambiguity - be more forthright with your much quoted opinions. I'd like to see the WT print a question from readers from farkel

  Jesus resurrection-fleshly or spiritual?

  i hear strong arguements that it was a fleshly body that was resurrected, but how then do you explain thomas not recognizing jesus, or appearing in the locked room?

  if it was spiritual, then is it really a resurrection, and if not, what good was it?.
